Several modifications to all of the most important chassis components have resulted in a noticeably better driving comfort of the new Opel Corsa whilst its agile driving characteristics are not compromised respectively further improved.
Find out more about advanced chassis technology features such as Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Interactive Driving System (IDS) and Electric Power Steering (EPS).
In the new Opel Corsa, ABS is much more than “just” ABS. It is the latest generation system incorporating a number of additional functions:
The new Opel Corsa can be upgraded with the optional IDS (Interactive Driving System) chassis including following functions: Electronic Stability Program Plus (ESP®Plus) with Traction Control Plus (TCPlus) and with Enhanced Understeering Control (EUC). EUC optimizes the maneuverability in addition to standard ESP®. In case of ESP®Plus intervention, brake pressure is applied to up to four wheels for the most effective stabilization when needed.
The speed-sensitive power-assisted steering provides maximum assistance when parking, and ensures good road contact and steering precision at higher speed. An extra direct, high response system is optionally available on all trims.
