Automatically regulates the interior climate and puts you completely in control of the temperature and environment, allowing you to maintain your preferred interior temperature to within a single degree. By reducing driver stress, it acts as a vital safety feature. ECC is optional on Astra Club, Design, SXi and SRi. |

Choose the Easytronic transmission and you’ll get a five-speed manual and automatic all rolled into one – with ‘sequential’ manual shifting or automatic mode with kickdown function. And with Easytronic, there’s no clutch pedal. You just nudge the lever left to switch modes on the move. And even in manual, it slips automatically into neutral when you stop. Easytronic also comes with race car stye gear changes via buttons located on the steering wheel and a Sport function for higher-rev shifting. |

Sport Switch comes as standard on Astra SRi, 2.0i 16v Design and optional as part of Sports Pack on all other Design models. With Easytronic and automatic transmission Sports Switch comes as standard, allowing higher revs per minute through gear changes. |
